When print meets screen: a bakery case study

The Rivierenhof project started with a paper bag. The owners wanted customers to recognise the bakery from across the market square, so we designed the identity around a single bold shape that works at any size.

Because the shape is simple, it translates cleanly into a stamp, a window decal and a favicon. The same colours and the same type appear on the bags, the menu board and the small website that lists opening hours and seasonal specials.

Six months later the owners tell us that customers photograph the bags and post them. That is the best kind of consistency: one idea, repeated everywhere, recognisable without effort.
